Unit 3 Expectations 10/27/2010

Hello to all my classmates and professor, I am writing this blog entry for my Unit 3 of my College Comp 2 course. I have been doing pretty good in my courses so far but hey it is only the 3rd week. I am trying really hard to stay on top of things and make sure my homework is turned in on time and I finish all that is required. It is very hard juggling school, 6 kids, a husband that works 2 jobs and a houshold. I have a good schedule that is working well for my but there are times when I want to watch that certain movie that shows when all the kids are in school which is the perfect time to watch with no interruptions.

I am choosing to do my paper on Preventing Teenage Pregnancy and feel I will not have a problem finding information to support my thesis statement although constructing a strong thesis statement may take some time. I know the 3 points that I want to focus on but it may be twisted and changed somewhat before I come up with the final Thesis statement which will be included in my paper. I am open to any suggestions any of you have as to a good strong way to put the thesis statement prefferrably from those whom are not doing this topic, I would hate to take away from your papers. Hopefully this is how we are supposed to do our blog I find it very easy to write here and enjoy it as well. Way better than having to keep a journal where I am writing. It is very easy to erase and start over where I do not have to use too much paper. Well I am looking forward to hearing what you all have to say and am looking forward to starting on this paper. 10-23-10

Ok here I go for unit 2 in my class. Hope this finds everyone who reads it in good health and happy spirits. The weather is finally getting cooler but living here in Az it never really gets too cold. I am sitting here with all my windows and doors open wearing shorts and a tank top. I am trying to figure out which topic I should choose for my scientific paper. This is a tough one being I want to choose a topic that I can give a good paper and enough information to meet the page requirements. I feel this blog was a really good idea and am glad I can be a part of it. I would probably never started a blog if it were not for this class. I can not wait to read my peers blogs and see all the comments I get on mine. Well thats all I have for now. I will most likely have more later LOL "see" you all soon.

Sunday 10-17-10

Hello all, I am going to start today doing a weekly update via this blog. This will be on top of my weekly blog assignment depending on what that assignment consists of. I have had a good first week of my 4th term at Kaplan and am really glad I have stuck with it this long. I am pursuing my goal of a college degree and in a field that I feel is going to be in demand for awhile. My kids were out of school for a week and will be going back this coming Tuesday and I will be using that time to concentrate on my studies and hopefully I will be able to stay on task and keep my grades up. I have been doing good so far as my grades go finished all classes with an A except my Legal Aspects I passed with a B which is still very awesome because I use to get grades that were much lower when I was in grade school and high school.

I am going to close for now my kids are in bed and we have an early start tomorrow got to take one of my daughters to the Dr. Have a great night everyone and will write again soon.

Ok I am really new to this so I hope I am doing this right. I have always wondered about blogs and I do post on Face Book but nothing like this. It feels good so far so we will see. Any comments on how to make this better are greatly appreciated.
